Scalp Micropigmentation is the process in which we insert pigment (ink) into the scalp. We do this by using specialized micro needles that allow us to give our customers the appearance of naturally growing hair follicles.
Can Scalp Micropigmentation help with pattern baldness?
Yes, whether you are thinning on the crown or having a receding hairline, SMP can be a great permanent solution. We can give you the appearance of having thicker hair and/or completely recreate a new hairline.
Is it possible to have a hairline restoration with SMP?
Yes. Our method can totally recreate the appearance of a former hairline. Say goodbye to that receding hairline.
How many sessions will I need?
Our process usually takes around 2 to 3 sessions which we book about a week or two apart from each other.
How much does it hurt?
The treatment is less painful than getting a typical tattoo but this can vary from person to person since we all have different pain tolerance. In general we would say that it does hurt but it’s not too bad.
How long does the treatment last?
Each session normally takes between 3 to 4 hrs.
How natural does it look?
To most people it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between real and simulated hair follicles.
How long is the recovery?
Right after treatment you will only have a little bit of redness which will fade away in a couple of days.
How much is the treatment?
Overall costs vary depending on how much work you need but they usually range between $1,000 - $3,000.

Can this treatment be used to cover up a scars?
Absolutely! Scar cover-up or “scar camouflage” is one of the services we offer and the results are amazing. Most people can’t tell there was a scar after getting SMP.
Can SMP be used as hair transplant cover-up?

Is this good for people with gray hair?
Yes, SMP can be used on people with gray hair, you just have to make sure you keep your hair very short.
Does it matter if I have light or dark skin?
No it doesn’t matter. We are actually able to select the right pigment color so it will blend in nicely with your skin.
Can I sweat after treatment?
We recommend that you avoid heavy sweating for 5 days. After this you can have some moderate sweating but nothing hardcore until it’s been 10 days after your treatment.
Is this treatment a good option for people with long hair?
Yes. SMP is a great option for people that are looking to cover up areas that are thinning, it is however not a good option if your are trying to get a new hairline, for this you would have buzz your head completely.
